Dr. Shivam Natarajan, MBBS, MS, FRCS, MBA,  is a surgeon and healthcare innovator with over 30 years of experience leading transformation programs across multiple countries, including the UK’s NHS. An entrepreneur, he has built several digital health and EHR platforms from concept to commercialization. In 1998, he founded Asia’s first Virtual Medical University, now serving over 100,000 clinicians worldwide.

He developed a cloud-based multi-enterprise EHR and an AI-powered mobile health platform for chronic disease and population health management. His recent work includes Europe’s largest cancer data network and a globally deployed AI-driven contactless remote patient monitoring system.

Dr. Natarajan has served as Senior Advisor to Saudi Arabia’s National Digital Blueprint and Virtual Care Strategy, shaping national healthcare transformation frameworks across the UAE, Qatar, and KSA.

Author of four books and over 20 international publications, he has also advised the WHO and the governments of India, UAE, UK, Singapore, and Malaysia.

In his free time, he writes poetry, promotes Ethics in AI, mentors young entrepreneurs, and supports sustainability initiatives.
