• As a Software Development lead in our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality
  software solutions/products that meet the needs of our customers. This role will be crucial for the
  growth company in envisioning in banking/payment card industry.

Job Specification / Skills and Competencies:

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Microservices: Architect, design, and develop microservices-based applications that are scalable, resilient, and high-performing.
• Backend Development: Build robust backend services using technologies like Java, Node.js,
• Python focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Strong knowledge on Even Driven Architecture, microservice design patterns, Observability patterns, security patterns.
• Should have some experience in designing the architecture on both Cloud native and On-premises.
• Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage databases (SQL, NoSQL) to support microservices architecture and ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Integration and API Development: Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as necessary to support application functionality.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) to ensure the reliability and quality of the software.
• Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application performance to ensure smooth operation under high loads.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including system architecture, API specifications, and developer guides.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 8+ years’ experience in full stack development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in frontend development using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Expertise in backend development using languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
• Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Familiarity with reactive programming paradigms and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with microservices monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Sound knowledge on docker containers and Kubernates Orchestration.
• Sound Knowledge on various AWS integration services and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka.
• Understanding of security best practices and techniques for securing microservices-based applications.
• Demonstrable experience in building, programming, and integrating software for high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce business, including product, transaction, payment, fulfillment, after-sales etc.
• Experience with payment processing platforms, securely handling PII (customer data, credit card information)
• Experience with Banking/Payment Card industry is preferred.
