Job Purpose

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in traditional machine learning (ML) techniques such as regression, prediction, and classification, as well as advanced deep learning methods, particularly in the realm of Natural Language Processing (NLP). The candidate should also be proficient in using state-of-the-art frameworks like YOLO, TensorFlow, and large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI’s GPT and LLaMA. This role requires a deep understanding of developing, deploying, and managing AI/ML models on cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions that meet customer requirements. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in architecting AI-centric solutions and driving innovation within our projects.

Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities

• ML/AI Development: Design, develop, and deploy ML/AI models for various use cases, including regression, prediction, and classification.
• Deep Learning & NLP: Implement advanced deep learning models, particularly in NLP, using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and others.
• LLMs Integration: Work with large language models such as OpenAI’s GPT and LLaMA to develop AI- driven solutions.
• Computer Vision: Utilize frameworks like YOLO for object detection and other computer vision tasks.
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage AI/ML models in cloud environments, primarily on Azure or AWS.
• Solution Architecture: Architect and design end-to-end AI-centric solutions tailored to client needs.
• Customer Interaction: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable AI/ML solutions.
• Project Management: Lead data science projects from conception through to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and data engineers on the team.

Job Specification / Skills and Competencies

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. PhD is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on ML, deep learning, and NLP.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with NLP libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, or SpaCy.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s GPT, LLaMA, etc.
• Knowledge of computer vision frameworks like YOLO.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) for deploying and managing AI/ML models.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model monitoring and deployment.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to understand and articulate customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in architecting large-scale AI solutions.
• Certification in Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
