The Client, a UK-based safety-tech innovator known for its photonics and camera-based enforcement systems recognized the need to modernize its product portfolio. As V2X and autonomous vehicle technologies reshaped the mobility landscape, the company aimed to develop solutions that could seamlessly operate within connected, intelligent transportation networks.

The client’s enforcement and speed-detection systems risked losing relevance as vehicles gained autonomous and connected capabilities.
Solution
Experion helped conceptualize and build a V2X solution using Cohda Wireless RSU and OBU devices, enabling real-time communication between vehicles and roadside infrastructure.

The client required a unified ecosystem connecting sensors, roadside units, vehicles, and backend systems.

Experion designed the architecture and delivered an integrated transportation management system consisting of V2X communication modules, a web platform for end-to-end management, and a mobile interface for real-time safety alerts.

Ensuring vulnerable road user safety in autonomous environments
Pedestrian and cyclist safety is a major concern in CAV ecosystems.
Solution
Developed a Kotlin-based mobile application using Mapbox Vision SDK to detect vulnerable road users and send warnings to nearby vehicles via the V2X network.

Required rapid prototyping to validate concept and feasibility
The client needed a proof-of-concept to evaluate technology readiness and business viability.

Experion built a working POC demonstrating live V2X communication, vehicle-to-infrastructure messaging, hazard alerts, and pedestrian detection workflows.
