The client is a US-based company dedicated to improving quality of life through their products. They offer branded products such as fruit and vegetable nutrition in convenient forms like capsules, chewables, and powder concentrates sourced from various fruits, vegetables, and grains.
The company’s sales model revolves around its customers, known as partners, who are promoted to higher ranks based on criteria such as total sales volume and the number of customers added.
The Challenge
The client invites partners from around the world to promote and share their products, aiming to boost sales. However, the partner promotion process was manual and cumbersome, with the back-office team responsible for manually entering data, verifying eligibility, and approving promotions. This outdated system did not streamline the process, leading to a poor partner experience, delays in promotion requests, and extended payout timelines.
Additionally, the client’s existing order management system required maintenance and re-engineering to simplify tracking and processing of all order and payment-related details. They needed a custom order management software solution that could automate these processes and improve overall efficiency.
Our Solution
Experion Technologies proposed the development of microservices to enhance the speed and efficiency of the partner promotion process. Our team developed a system that automates partner promotion evaluation using a microservices architecture with an event-driven system design. This solution allows partners to apply for promotions directly through the portal once they meet the necessary criteria. The system continuously evaluates and provides real-time information on the partner’s promotion status, streamlines the promotion process, and expedites the payout of title rewards. The back-office team can also view and manage all promotion requests efficiently, taking appropriate actions after verification.
In addition to the promotion system, we re-engineered their existing custom order management software, integrating a payment processing module that supports multiple payment sources and gateways. We also developed a suite of customer care applications that allows the client to manage customer service orders, and a centralized Warehouse Management System that integrates various systems and internal processes such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and cycle counts.
