The client is a US-based healthcare provider serving senior American citizens with neurodegenerative conditions, including Stage 1 Dementia. They sought a comprehensive care management software platform that could be utilized by medical practitioners, patients, and caregivers’ family members, and wanted to deploy embedded analytics to obtain feedback from patients with limited communication ability.
The Challenge
The client faced challenges with their existing healthcare platform, which used visual maps to engage patients’ habit memory systems and improve cognitive skills. After extensive discussions, Experion identified several issues. The client lacked visibility into how patients interacted with the visual maps daily, making it difficult to ensure regularity and ease of navigation. Additionally, there was no insight into patients’ progress, daily challenges, or improvements, which hindered the ability to provide personalized care through their care management software.
Our Solution
Experion proposed a comprehensive care management software platform integrated with embedded analytics to address the client’s business objectives. This custom healthcare solution utilized Firebase, BigQuery, and Google Analytics platforms. The platform recorded detailed interaction logs and click events during individual patient online sessions. The embedded Firebase tool performed funneling, experience charts, and other analyses. BigQuery delivered valuable insights, such as platform usage duration and individual patient progress compared to the general population. Machine learning algorithms added business intelligence to the solution, generating data stories that identified gaps and proposed solutions. The platform produced meaningful insights and recommendations based on data.
